My Philosophy

I believe that truly great theatre artists merge the skill sets of the Actor, Playwright, and Director, using a common vocabulary to shape and hone stortytelling, regardless of their role in the creative process. My work as an actor is informed not only by my instincts and craft from an acting perspective, but also from the dramaturgical, spatial, linguistic, and analytical perspectives of the playwright and director. Likewise, I approach directing with a strong sensibility of what the actor needs. Every contribution I make to the creative or collaborative process is three-dimensional.
